Welcome to The Gem — the back unit of our fully renovated triplex. Freshly updated with modern finishes, new furnishings, and a clean, simple style, this one-bedroom hideaway is designed for comfort and ease. Perfect for couples or solo travelers, The Gem offers a quiet space in a central Wilmington location.

Important Note: This is a triplex, and although the building has been fully renovated, sound can carry between units. Most guests never have an issue, but if you’re a very light sleeper or require total silence, this may not be the best fit. We’d rather set clear expectations so your stay is exactly what you’re hoping for.

The property sits on a block full of recently renovated homes in a modern style — a unique pocket of Wilmington that often surprises locals. Right next door is the Nir Family YMCA, where guests can purchase a $15 day pass to enjoy the pool, hot tub, sauna, weight room, cardio machines, spin bikes, and classes.
Wallace Park, Port City Java, Indochine, Whole Foods, and several local cafés and breweries are just a short drive away. Downtown Wilmington and the Riverwalk are less than 5 minutes away, and Wrightsville Beach is under 15 minutes when you’re ready to head to the coast.
Guests have one private parking spot, plus free street parking.
