“Honestly this was one of our best AirBnB experiences ever. We will definitely look to stay at one of their properties again. We took a last minute trip to avoid some weather and the host was extremely responsive from the time we made the reservation, for questions prior to arrival and resolving a minor issue during our stay. They were also extremely accommodating for an early check out date The unit itself has everything you need and is comfortable and well maintained. It’s easily walkable to downtown Wilmington. We would highly recommend this place and this host”

Property Spotlight
Heaven on Seventh
Castle Street Arts District / Downtown Wilmington
I’ve gotta tell you about Heaven on Seventh—it’s this beautifully remodeled historic home just a ten‑minute stroll from the riverwalk and all the downtown charm. Right now, in February’s gentle winter light, that wrap‑around porch with its swing and the cozy backyard garden feel especially inviting for morning coffee or afternoon chats. Inside, the open living area and high ceilings let in loads of natural light, making it warm and cheerful even on cooler days. It’s the kind of place that feels like a hug from Wilmington itself.
What Is Happening in Wilmington
Here’s a little local scoop on what’s going on around town this February—some fun for everyone, whether you’re here for a cozy getaway or calling Wilmington home.
NC Jazz Festival
February 5 – February 7 at Check website for times • Hotel Ballast, downtown Wilmington
Three nights of soulful, toe-tapping jazz right in the heart of town—perfect for slipping into that relaxed Valentine’s mood without the fuss. It’s one of the Southeast’s biggest traditional jazz celebrations, and hearing live music in that historic hotel setting just feels right.
Special Olympics Polar Plunge & 5K Run‑N‑Plunge
February 21 at Gates open 11:00 AM, 5K starts 1:30 PM, plunge lineup 3:00 PM • Kure Beach Oceanfront Park
Ever thought about doing something delightfully chilly for a good cause? This one’s it—run or walk the 5K, then dive into the ocean (costumes encouraged), enjoy live music, raffles, and a costume contest. It’s goofy, it’s bold, and it’s a great way to feel part of the community.
Wilmington Farmers Market (Tidal Creek)
February 28 at 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM • Tidal Creek Food Co‑op green space, 5329 Oleander Drive
Bright Saturday morning, fresh local produce, maybe a pastry or two—this market is where the town wakes up and smells the coffee (and kale). It’s casual, friendly, and a lovely way to stretch your legs and meet locals while picking up goodies.
